Composition Visit Day

CONSIDERING A CAREER IN MUSIC COMPOSITION?

 you are invited to attend the Composition Visit Day on Saturday, October 29, 2015 from 11:00am - 5:00pm at Cleveland Institute of Music with CIM Composition instructor, Keith Fitch!

Schedule for Saturday, October 29
11:00am registration, Hazel Drive entrance
11:30am  composition introduction, tour of electronic music studio, master class time 
1-1:30pm  lunch (provided)
1:30pm Symposium with Augusta Read Thomas
3:30pm open rehearsal for The Boulez Legacy concert "Boulez the Advocate and Mentor" 

Registrants are welcome to stay for the New Music Ensemble concert, "Boulez the Advocate and Mentor", on Sunday, October 30: 
12-2:30pm  dress rehearsal
3:00pm  pre-concert discussion
4:00pm  concert

The first 2 students who respond will have one piece of their own critiqued by Dr. Fitch during the master class time.
